Stop Child Labour

8 days left

Any kind of labour, however small, takes away childhood and the opportunities of a bright future from children. Children deserve to learn, and become individuals they aspire to be. We need to support their dreams and create opportunities that will enable them to achieve that.

As per the last census data, India already had over 33 million child labourers, between the ages of 6 and 18 years (Census 2011) – a number that is likely to rise as more underprivileged children are forced to work and support their families.

At CRY, we have been working towards ensuring such children get a chance to go to school instead of work. Our team is conducting awareness drives to show parents how negatively child labour impacts their children’s lives. We are also connecting families from marginalised communities to livelihood schemes to help reduce their financial burden.

You can also consider supporting our work by making a donation to stop child labour. Donate today.
